Home Life

Homeschooling should really be called something else.  "School" isn't the right word.

This is how we roll.  There's always some reading and writing (oh, how I love Piggie and Gerald,)

lots and lots of outside time,
 and sister love,
and lots of laughs.

A fiend of mine gave me some old magazines called "Welcome Home."  When I was first home with children, I loved those magazines like a new friend.  I remember in one essay, a woman described "home training;" which is better, but that's not right either.  For the most part, I'm training myself to be the most excellent and happy mom, friend, neighbor, daughter, wife, teacher, gardener, task master, house cleaner, tractor driver, chicken mistress, pony caretaker, laundry folder, desk cleaner, journal writer, listener, correct grammar user, friend maker, thanks giver, manners minder, etc. and my little observers are training right along side.  We're all in training, for better or for worse.
