Farm Drama, A Chicken's Life, The Final Act?

 I had to chase this chicken around a little bit to get these crumby shots, but I was glad I did!

This is Hungry Chicken, attempting to eat something tasty, alone, in peace.

 Here she is thinking, "Ah, peace at last."

"OH!  What does she have?  A tasty snack?  Let's get some of that!" say the other girls. 

 "Oh No!  No way!  I'm not sharing my tasty snack!" says Hungry Chicken, as she runs away.

 Wait a minute, is that a  . . . 

 OMG, it IS a . . . 

 Hungry chicken says, "I better eat this right now before that lady or those other chickens try to take it!"

"All I have to do is open wide and . . . " 

 "That's right.  Who's one the closest living relative of the dinosaur?  Me, baby.  T-rex's cousin.  Honeybadger Hungry Chicken!"  

She swallowed it whole.  Because Honeybadger Hungry Chicken don't care.

I think I'll file this under triumph.  If Hungry Chicken doesn't die, then its a huge triumph because then I'll know what to do with all that hard as a rock corn out there in the garden.  If she dies, well then . . . one less chicken . . . since she's not laying very much right now anyway, it will be a triumph either way.  I like to look on the bright side, or just make all sides into bright sides.
