Inspirations

Luckily, we have a neighbor who runs an amazing pick your own garden with amazing prices.  They are my inspiration and my savior, years like this one when my garden is floweriffic and food starved.  They have EVERYTHING and in bountiful quantities and you can't beat their prices.  (Did I say that already?)  Here we are last week picking the last of the raspberries . . .
the pumpkins (Hi Jackie!)
 bogarting the raspberries,
and loving the rasberries.
This spring, they weren't happy with the size of their strawberries so they sold them for $1 per quart!  If they hadn't tasted so amazing, we might have frozen some but no . . .

we pretty much ate them as fast as we could pick them.
I'm so inspired by their garden and generosity.  They're never too busy to stop and chat and answer questions and will share all their information readily.
Oh, my mouth is watering just thinking about those strawberries.  Next year, we will have our own strawberries!  And if it doesn't work out . . . there's always the neighbors!
