Autumn Goodbye

This was our annual quickie photo shoot in the apricot orchard in front of my parent's house on East Orchard Mesa.  We try and do this every year, either in the fall or when they're in bloom.

Darn you little twig covering Cecilia's face!  Why didn't I see you?!  Oh yeah, because my attention to detail is non existent.  My photography skills stink!  But I DO know how to control the aperture now, so that's good!

I did try and photoshop the twig, but in addition to not knowing how to work my camera, iPhoto also confounded me.

In case you're wondering, this is the best snowy winter photo I've taken and the camera went off by accident.  Wonder of wonders.  I'll keep trying.  Its not easy to get all artsy with your camera when its 20 degrees and your three year old is yelling at you to pick him up and that he can't see and when you finally look at him, he has snot running down his face and his hat over his eyes.
